PYLON is a body-worn node that puts every soldier, and the sensors they already wear, onto the tactical picture. Quiet by design. Off the air at the flip of a switch.
Today the picture stops at the squad leader.
Below the leader, a soldier’s position is a voice report and their sensor data never leaves the body. Commanders and autonomous systems can only work for the soldiers they can see.
Worn on the kit. Not carried in a hand.
A small node issued to every soldier. No screen to watch and nothing to hold, so nobody leaves it behind.

An individual position for each soldier, delivered straight into TAK. No phone or tablet on the body.

Readings from the wearables a soldier already carries travel with their position, so the leader sees condition as well as location.
Quiet on command
Emission control is enforced in hardware. One glove-operable switch takes the node off the air.
